Meet Jack Chang

Jack Chang was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to South America when he was just 3 years old. He and his family spent 6 months in Paraguay and another 5 years in Brazil before moving to New York City. From there they moved to California and have been there ever since.

After graduating from UCLA and Notre Dame (MBA), Jack has held jobs in corporate America in both large corporations to small tech start ups. His first career was in finance and accounting where he was most recently the controller of an aerospace manufacturing company before making a switch to recruiting back in 2015. He is now the Vice President of Talent Acquisition for a SaaS company, his 3rd tech start up.

He and his wife have 2 daughters in the OUSD school system and another one that graduated from it in 2024.

Jack is very involved with his local church serving as the parking ministry lead and regularly volunteering at the food pantry serving the community at large.

Jack is always learning and pushing himself. He finished a marathon, half triathlon (70.3 miles) and has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the OC Carlson Gracie academy in Orange for the past 2 years. Jack will bring not only fiscal responsibility to the board but also care and compassion for the students regardless of background. Students will always come first alongside parental rights and empowerment.
